Our Four Days in Austria

Our spring vacation was getting over. With a great pleasure, we visited Czech Republic, Bavaria and Austria. After intensive tours around Czech cities and Munich, we were tired a lot. Therefore in Austria we wished a calm and thoughtful acquaintance with Vienna and Austria, an unknown to us country.

Oksana coordinated with us all the details in advance and literally, minute-by-minute built up the tour program considering our preferences and peculiarities. Since everything had been already booked and agreed we were coming to unknown Vienna relaxed and aware that they will meet us, lead the way, accommodate, make translations, explain, arrange check outs etc.

In fact, during an incomplete four days period (!) spent in Vienna we visited splendid parks, monarch residences, suburban palaces and gardens! We were to some Austrian villages and towns and of course fell in love with them and with their inhabitants! For the first time in our life, we saw an absolutely astonishing knight’s castle! We attended the service in the temple and were listening to unbelievable organ sounds! We looked into the most sacred place – functioning monastery of the Franciscans! We saw Vienna and the Danube River “from above” and had a local wine with new friends in the Heuriger in the vicinity of the city. Among the vineyards we were admiring panoramic view of the city. We lived a whole life then, and left already being in love with Vienna a hope to meet again!

All this happened due to the Friends in Vienna! With a special warm feeling we recall charming Mr. Hannes Jardin, energetic Mr. Werner Prey, who knows everything! And of course, Oksana Polianskaja, who was our chief-organizer and interpreter and who followed us everywhere as a professional guide and just a friend!

Guys, thank you very much! We’ve got from this trip not only the knowledge and impressions, but also a great fun!
